oneand0
Have you tried just using the software raid in Disk Utility to boot from a RAID? I have been thinking about purchasing a rocketraid controller also, but gave the software raid utility a chance tonight. I got two 30GB OCZ SSD's in a RAID0 = 60GB pushing about 289 reads and 170 writes just using software/disk utility. The method was pretty simple and no hardware needed other than my motherboard chipset. I still may buy a rocketraid for my Windows 7 side and keep all the RAIDS for Windows on that chipset controller. Let me know if you want my method for the software raid.
