@Mieze - Great news!!!

Your new version is working on my T420. (device 1502).  I have only been using it for a few hours. before I was using the 2.4.14 version as that was the only version that did not hang in a short time when transferring large files.  i will keep you posted if i see any issues.

Thank you.

I have a weird issue today...after installing Windows 10 on another HDD, I cannot get an IP on my Yosemite hacks!!! I have 2 installs (2 HDDs) and on both I cannot get an IP now, after the Win install. Also, during the Windows install, also there I could not get an IP, only after installing manually a driver from asus (I have maximus formula VI MB). But here, on the OS X......nothing :(

I've just updated hnak kext with the newest linux driver 3.3.1, which gives i219-LM support.

It still doesn't work with i219-v (which was added in previous version)

Edit:
new version of the file uploaded - working i219v - all credits goes to alreadystarted

CFBundleIdentifier missing/invalid type in kext EFI\CLOVER\kexts\10.11\AppleIntelE1000e.kext - Not loading for me.  Easy enough fix, but looks like it doesn't have the CFBundleIdentifier set correctly.

Thank you iStigPL and alreadystarted!  After a little edit kext is working fine and working i219-v!

What edit did you do? I'm getting that error as well.

I added a new string called Bundle Identifier with the value com.insanelymac.driver.AppleIntelE1000e to the info.plist

Awesome, it works now.

Sorry, not ok here

Change: > CFBundleIdentifier: "com.iStig.driver" to "com.iStig.driver.AppleIntelE1000e" work

Change both: > CFBundleIdentifier & > IOKitPersonalities > e1000e > CFBundleIdentifier to original "com.insanelymac.driver.AppleIntelE1000e" should work

Clover Inject Intel True and

<key>ig-platform-id</key>

Hello everyone,

I'm currently running a supermicro board (X9DAi) on 10.9.5, on my side AppleIGB is terribly unstable, and produces 90% of the time kernel panics.

Has anyone here experienced that too ? If so, how did you circumvent that problem ? the nics are Intel's i350.

I've tried using the IntelE1000.kext and adding the devices ID's from the AppleIGB, and strangely the NIC seems to be recognized, but is unable to do DHCP or to effectively send information. I tried setting a manual IP and pinging outside doesn't work (not even the router).

Any ideas ? I have a screenshot of the KP if needed.

AppleIntelE1000e.kext 32/64 for 10.8,10.7,10.6 & 10.5 (until 2.0.0).

This driver is based on Intel Wired Ethernet for Linux ( e1000.sourceforge.net ) . As it uses ( almost as is ) Linux driver's source code, the license is GPL.

The base Linux driver is e1000e-1.9.5 and works with Intel PCI Express ethernet chips like 82578 (P55/H55) and 82579 (P67/H67).
I tested 82573, 82574L, 82578, 82579 only as I do not have other NICs.

82575/82578/82580 based NIC needs another one - AppleIGB.kext.

List of the IDs supported by original driver:

0x105E,0x105F,0x1060,0x10D9,0x10DA,0x10A4,0x10D5,0x10A5,0x10BC,0x107D,
0x107E,0x107F,0x10B9,0x108B,0x108C,0x109A,0x10D3,0x10F6,0x150C,0x1096,
0x1098,0x10BA,0x10BB,0x1501,0x1049,0x104A,0x104B,0x104C,0x10C4,0x10C5,
0x104D,0x10BF,0x10F5,0x10CB,0x10BD,0x10E5,0x294C,0x10C0,0x10C3,0x10C2,
0x10CC,0x10CD,0x10CE,0x10DE,0x10DF,0x10EA,0x10EB,0x10EF,0x10F0,
0x1502,0x1503,0x153a,0x153b,0x1559,0x155a,

0x15a0,0x15a1,0x15a2,0x15a3,0x156f,0x1570

0x104B and 0x10F6 are supported by Apple's Intel82574L.kext ( so removed from this driver's Info.plist ).

Availabie at: sourceforge .
