hey everyone, im new here so sorry if im posting in the wrong section :P

after long failure and many used dvd's i finally got a distro to work on my pc.

i used leo4all (forgot which version) it took forever and a day to install. everything worked except for wireless.

but; it was SLOW <_< i couldnt boot it up without it going auto. into verbose mode. even if i didnt put the flag - v on! and when i was in; it was still wicked slow

 

so heres the deal, im looking for a distro thats compatable with my hardware. i have a emachines T6412 *sigh* and i would prefer snow leopard? <_< but leopard would be fine. oh and i have an amd pc
