I wish to run Leopard from my system, it will be installed on a new 500GB hard drive, If dual booting with Windows 7 on my other hard drive works, I would like to do that as well.

My System Specs Are As Follows:

  • Evga nForce 750i FTW Motherboard
  • nVidia 9800 GTX Graphics Card
  • Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3.0 Ghz
  • 2GB Mushkin Ram
  • 500 GB Western Digital Cavier Blue

I would like to know which Distro would be best for me, there are so many to choose from.

Eg.

  • Retail Leopard DVD
  • Kalyway
  • iDeneb
  • iPC
  • iAtkos

I'm also wondering if I have to use a bootloader, Eg. 132 Bootloader

I Tried Following These Steps:

"Basic Success With Evga 750i..."

But Never Reached Options Like #2:

  1. Use iDeneb 10.5.5 (no need to use any variables on boot of CD.... well -v is useful)
  2. Select X11
  3. Select 9.4 XNU kernel
  4. Select NVKush in graphics section
  5. ......

Here Is What I Have Tried So Far:

  • Downloaded iDeneb v.3 10.5.5
  • Boot From 132 Bootloader CD
  • Swapped For iDeneb DVD
  • Darwin X86 Started Loading
  • Apple Logo Appeared, Some Error Message, Told Me To Restart By Holding Power Button
  • Did So, Loaded To A iDeneb Welcome Screen
  • Showed List Of Errors, Log File, Told Me That I Had To Restart The Installation
  • I Even Formatted The New Hard Drive From The Disk Utility From The Menu Bar
  • Now I Can't Get Past The Apple Logo (Sometimes I See The Spinwheel..)
  • I Have Now Erased The Hard Drive Again & Wish To Start Over, Perhaps With Easy Instructions

I'm Also Downloading All The Other Distros So If I Have To use Them, They Can Be Readily Available.

Any Help Would Be Appreciated. I'm New To This Forum, So Sorry If I Have Done Something Against The Rules.

Thanks.
