Hi all!

Have been reading the forums and decided to make an account.

I recently installed iPC 10.5.6 with the vanilla kernel and then upgraded to 10.5.8 (having issues with snow leopard for now so I will stay here) Audio, display, WiFi everything is great.

My Graphics card is an Intel GMA950. System Profiler says that my card is not Quartz Extreme supported. My real issue is trying to run iMovie which requires QE. Is there anyway to hack the OS or something that makes all applications think I have QE enabled? If not is there a way to run iMovie for now without real QE being enabled?

Thanks!

In case you misunderstood, I wasn't talking about the official RC4 release (it won't help with your problem). I was referring to an experimental version that's available for download in the forum.

Well, I installed the Dr. Hurt one. Could you please supply the link for it, really not that experienced :(

Heh, hell no.

I don't mind helping, but I don't spoon feed. This is exactly the kind of situation my avatar pokes fun at.

Go to the VoodooProjects forum, Chameleon Section, General forum. Then look for something that says intel GMA in the subject line, or use the search if you don't see it immediately.

Ahhh no wonder I was confused. I misunderstood and thought you meant this forum. Tonight I will try to find it and will post bakc. With results. Replying from my Droid right now, so can't test out now. Thanks for all the help so far!

(This is a lesson to fellow 13 year olds that we actually do need more help then we think)
