Need a little help with this one. I've got a Dell laptop dual booting XP Pro

and Kalyway 10.5.1. Everything working ok but I now wish to replace

XP with Windows 7 and would like to know how to do this without hosing

OSX and the dual boot setup. Any detailed help would be most appreciated.

Thanks very much!

Hey,

You can't upgrade win xp to seven. If u install over the partition that has xp will remove all data on it.

So i recommend you:

1. Backup all your data and format Xp partition then install seven on it.

2. When Seven boot, you can install EasyBCD to manage boot from windows seven

3. Creating a new register entry for mac at boot, so u can select which one to boot.

If u need more help, and detailed information.

Let me know

Peace

Thank you very much for the response. Yes I knew I would

have to do a clean install of 7, just wasn't sure how to set

it up so I would not lose my hackintosh. I will dl easy bcd tonight

and give this a shot. Will post back if I get stuck.
