Takuro
I need a simple application to manage my website. Right now, I use HTML Kit in Windows. I'm looking for a Mac application that is roughly the equivalent of HTML Kit. Here's what I need basically: - A simple web editor w/ raw text edit and a preview tab/pane - The app should be Universal Binary - Doesn't preview via opening any external browser - No WYSIWYG. I like to handle HTML code raw That's basically what I'm looking for. Something simple with a preview tab to quickly see how the raw code looks when rendered as a web page. Pixelation
Have you tried using TextEdit and Safari/FireFox? I know it's not ideal, but it's better than nothing, and they're free. Or search for a list of serials for Dreamweaver 8 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/20156-simple-web-editor-needed/#findComment-133431 Share on other sites

ralleria
I'd recommend you skEdit, it manages xhtml, css perfectly. What is more it's unibin and it has a preview pane. http://www.skti.org/skEdit.php Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/20156-simple-web-editor-needed/#findComment-133478 Share on other sites

squeakypants
bbEdit (Lite = free) is great, and I use it in Windows too. It just works. However, there's no preview pane, but preview panes are pretty annoying in my opinion. The only way to see what the user will see is to just have it open in a browser while you edit.
