Dvd drive help

[Danimator]

I installed Goatsect version on my amd system, all working fantastic except one thing...

 

My Hd is Sata, works fine, but on my IDE channel, I have 2 dvd drives, primary master is a dvd burner, and primary slave is just a plain dvd-rom drive. Osx recognizes the primary burner, but doesnt see the slave dvd-rom drive. Any ideas?

 

My mobo has 2 ide slots, and both the drives are on the primary ide channel, with nothing hooked up to the second one, would it work if i put a dvd drive on each ide channel as master drives or what? Any help would be appreciated, thanx.

Also, one mroe prob, during bootup, it gets to this line and freezes for like almost a minute, then continues, any ideas what causes this long pause?
