Yesterday, I stupidly upgraded my G31M-E2SL hackintosh (installed with this guide) to 10.6.2 without reading any guides. Of course, it KP'd. Now, I have been reading on how to fix this, using my USB installer. I know it was caused by SleepEnabler.ktext. So, I tried to delete it. No success. (I just deleted sleepenabler.ktext from my extra/customextentions folder. Is there something else?)

I also tried updating my mach_kernel file, per a guide I found.

cd /Volumes/Mac OS X (or whatever the name you used for the OS X install)
\cp mach_kernel mach_kernel.10.6.2 (make a copy of the updated 10.6.2 kernel)
\cp /mach_kernel mach_kernel (this copies the old kernel from the USB install to the HD)

Exit the OS X installation.

Reboot. Run Stell's version 3 installer.

Copy back the 10.6.2 kernel you made a copy of in the step above:

cd /
cp mach_kernel.10.6.2 mach_kernel

Reboot and everything should work again.

Nothing.

Please help, as I have a very important iMovie project!

Thank you SO much!!!!!!
