When i try to restart my computer os x shut down complete (Blackscreen on monitor) but my fans are running and nothing happens. can anyone fix that or is any fix out now?? Go to Pystar and get the OpenHaltRestart.kext and install it into the Extensions folder inside of Extras. Should fix it. OS X shut down but my fans are running. i wat about 2 minutes but nothin happens any help?? Akin Temel Posted November 12, 2009 Share Posted November 12, 2009 Try EvOReboot.kext instead of OHR. same problem my version was 10.6.1 yesterday i try the update after update i can not open macos its says ; Version Miss-match beetwen Kernel and CPU etc..... i want to try this method but i dont understand EvoREboot.kext where is it and what is OHR..
