No sound and No ethernet, no Quartz Extreme, Core video

I followed LifeHackers install Guide for Gigabyte Ep 45 UD3P...I have the UD3L....Snow Lepoard install went smoothly( my first time ever building a PC,it was fun and no hard At All). I dont have any sound or ethernet...also my video card(EVGA 250GTS 512MB) isnt showing core video or Quartz extreme in system profiler. I need any help I can get Thanks.

 

edit(etherent working) after several reboots..still no sound and nothing in sound panel or audio/midi

Regarding Core Image and Quartz Extreme, those aren't shown in System Profiler in Snow Leopard, since every Mac that can run Snow Leopard supports both of them. Basically just make sure the usual visual effects are working. Try playing Chess, try turning on one of the fancy screensavers, look for the dashboard widget ripple, etc. If they work, Core Image and Quartz Extreme are working.
