Howe9999 Posted November 6, 2009 Share Posted November 6, 2009 My B in law picked up an old imac without any system. I was finally able to install an early 10.0. I had to open up computer and hit reset button. Now it will start and run fine IF I reset the PRAM - Problem is I have to reset the PRAM every time to get it to start or it goes to the white screen and freezes. What is the cause or solution? Howe9999 Posted November 11, 2009 Author Share Posted November 11, 2009 I have replaced the battery, Installed a new x system completely erasing the hard drive and it is still doing the same thing. It runs after it starts but the only way to get it to start is reset the pram each time. If anyone has suggestions of where to go from here I would appreciate the info.
