Methos
Hi, i am experiencing some problems. the kernel _task shows very high numbers every time i use an application that writes to disk. i checked the ~/Library/Preferences/By Host and there is something rather strange that was not like that before. the files there have been duplicated with some with numbers in them. see attached screenshot. can someone tell me if this is why my kernel behaves bad or something else. another thing is that everytime i do a repair permission i get a huge list of permissions that need repairing. i never used to get these. i even deleted the dvd application and some of the widgets but it still repairs them. please see attached rtf for details. can anyone give some ideas of what i could do? thanks in advance! Methos PS i hope i posted this in the right place. the forum is so complex i never know.
