Sorry, I cant offer help but I wanted to know which method you used. You listed two. I have the same laptop but iatkos v7 wont even boot. The weird thing is that I'm getting an identical error, just it's on booting the dvd. Any help on getting it to install would be great then I might be able to help you from there.

Thanks

Both Methods Installed Flawless and both gave that error. Whats your error when you try to boot from the disc?

These aren't the best pics, stupid cameraphone, anyways this seems pretty similar to what your getting. Maybe iatkos just doesn't work with this hardware. I also tried snow leo and it wouldn't even boot chameleon. I'm pretty stumped right now, I bought this laptop because it was the cheapest one with a core2duo and now this. Weird. I'm sure they will get it going sooner or later, all hardware can be hacked with time :)

P.S. Aren't the pics supposed to auto resize, they're huge?!?
