Stuck at the light blue screen on a fresh install

Hello fellow PC users! I've come here today seeking enlightenment.

 

Essentially I've had an interest in trying OS X for a while, so I thought using OSx86 would be a good way of trying it. Unfortunatly the install has not went as swimmingly as people suggested it would've been.

 

Well that's not particularly specific. I followed these instructions here (http://tgrounds.blogspot.com/2009/04/leopard-os-x-1056-on-your-pc.html) and installed iPC (v10.5.6) on my PC. The install seems to have went well however upon booting the installed OS I'm greeted with a light blue screen and a cursor which does the colour-spinning-malarky for a bit then acts like a cursor. The system doesn't "freeze" per se and I can still move the cursor around the screen but nothing else happens and after a spatter of hard drive activity it then just idles and nothing happens. At all.

 

My system specs are as follows:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+

ATI Radeon x1950XT (GeCube AGP x8)

2GB DDR RAM

Creative SB Live!

VIA Mobo Chipset
