陈小龙
I'm having a problem installing Snow Leopard on my Dell Studio 1555. I get a kernel panic every time I get to the install part (see link below) It ran Leopard just fine. I just downloaded and restored the Snow Leopard 10A432 DMG to my external hard drive. I installed the Chameleon Bootloader and the required extensions in the "/Extra" folder. Based on some troubleshooting guides, the problem supposedly was because of the included FrameBuffer kexts, but I moved those kexts out of the Extensions folder and regenerated the Extensions.mkext file. I don't know if this is the problem, but when I regenerate the Extensions.mkext file, I get a whole bunch of "*.kext omitted from mkext" messages. I have no idea why. Also, when I boot, it gives an error message that Disabler.kext couldn't load. I hope there's an easy solution to this problem. Thanks for any help! http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/1250/dsc07617t.jpg Hardware specifications: Intel ICH9 Chipset Intel Core 2 Duo Processor SATA Mode: ACHI Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/194116-kernel-panic-during-snow-leopard-installation/ Share on other sites
