Just a list of questions I came up with after about a week of Snow Leopard use.

 

1. I have a Realtek ALC883, is it possible to use a vanilla AppleHDA.kext?

 

2. Anyway to change FSB on OS X?

 

3. On Chameleon RC3, does the VBIOS=Yes boot flag do anything for GMA950 people?

 

4. My Broadcom 4318 Wifi worked without any modification. However, on network utility it shows media as unknown and my wireless light doesn't light up. Anyway to fix this?

 

5. I have a Synaptics Touchpad. Anyway to somehow force it to use multitouch, like using 2 fingers to zoom into pictures and stuff?

 

6. My Ethernet doesn't work. It's a Marvell 8E8038 Yukon. People have had problems with this in the past, but was fixed using Eureka's (Chun-Nan) PCIFamily.kext and changing the AppleYukon2.kext's Info.plist but form my experimentation, I could not boot this kext under Snow Leopard. Any solutions here?

 

7. I use VoodooHDA (compiled latest one) but cannot get 5.1 sound. Common issue or?

 

8. I have two symbol keys on my laptop's keyboard. The keyboard and touchpad work fine for being PS/2 devices. Just wondering if those 2 keys can be enabled.

 

9. On World of Warcraft, I noticed I cannot use the Hardware sound option. WoW doesn't seem to detect any hardware channels. Help?
