Mehanik
Hi! Please help with 10.6 432. I install it using 10.5.7 to additional partition. Installed succesfully. Change "boot" to 9.4 (or any), kernel to test7, dsdt patched without any errors. In E/E - NullCPUPowerManagement,OpenHaltRestart,PlatformUUID, fakeSMC. In PlatformUUID, smbios.plist pointed UUID. Get Kernel Panic like screen I`ve posted. Please help. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/193484-kernel-panic-106-432/ Share on other sites
J Lamp
I didn't have any luck using partitions and having Snow and Leopard with the same bootloader. What happened with my setup was that the bootloader would grab the kexts in the /E/E folder from where it initially loaded. So in other words, if 10.5.7 is your first partition, when the system boots it grabs its /Extra/Extensions from there and not from the Snow partition. I now have a removable tray and physically swap the drive when I want to change between Snow and Leopard. There's probably a way to make this work, but that was my solution and both 10.5.8 and Snow are totally solid.
