metroidfreak33
Hi, I want to dual boot Windows 7 and OSX on two separate internal drives on my laptop. I want each one though to only run and see it's own hard drive. How do I go about this, and is there a way that i can make the other hard drive either shut of, or stay idle so I don't have a big power drain? vilpostus
It is possible. Use a bootloader to choose the OS to boot. By default ether OSes do not "see" each other (unless some drivers are present). So, if no the drive is not mounted, it is not used. If it is not used it doesn't consume much power.
