Hey guys, this is urgent as I have a few things I REALLY need on the main computer, but now I can't boot into it.

What I did was, tried to install Mac OS X through Aktos a week ago, it worked but without sound nor internet support, so I ended up deleting the partition, which was the BOOTING partition and just use windows as normal, everything was fine . I leave my computer overnight without shutting it down, and just today, I had to restart the computer.

I was greeted with a "boot0: error" and it just stops there. I knew what this meant - I had deleted the booting partition which was Mac OS X a week ago, thus it couldn't boot into Mac OS X, but all I wanted is to boot into XP. So I tried to install Mac OS X again, so I would be greeted with the dual boot up screen, so I could simply select Windows XP, instead of Mac OS X, but using the Disk Utility, the partition doesn't show up anymore, thus I can't install Mac OS X!

Is there anyway I could get into Windows XP again? The problem is that, I:

a ) I set the primary partition as Mac OS X, which I deleted

b ) Cannot access Magic Partition, obviously, because I cannot get into Windows XP

I do have the option to fresh install, but that would lose all my documents, which I really need at the moment.

This is quite urgent, any help will be greatly appreciated

Boot using your Windows install CD/DVD, or an emergency disc provided by your computer manufacturer. You should then be able to select a recovery option, which in turn should fix the problem. If you see such an option, tell it to fix the MBR. (In practice, it might or might not work; my experience is that the Windows recovery system is rather hit-or-miss. I often just re-install Windows in such situations -- but Windows isn't my primary OS, so I don't lose much in the way of customizations, applications, or documents by doing so.)

Try with Parted Magic LiveCD ( http://partedmagic.com/download.html )

Is a live CD with a partition tool (Gparted)

Get a PC where you can Download and burn it.

Boot the PC with it and select the first option, wait for a minutes then will show a Desktop, there is a partition tool (Gparted) that maybe can help you.

if it cannot be repaired with repair tools from windows installation dvd, try to make the windows partiton active again through windows installation disk's cmd or iatkos's terminal and then again try to boot with windows dvd and then repair. it shpould work this way.

pm me if yo need any help
