Surely it is a problem of kernel selection Can anyone help me? vilpostus
It is not necessary a kernel problem. It's more like chipset drivers are incompatible/wrong selected. Notice the: IOATAPIProtocol... IOSCSIAchitectureModel... AppleNForceATA IOATAFamily messages. Clearly states that a chipset drivers are to blame. Be sure to set the right options in BIOS. Then selecting dirvers/patches to install, don't forget to select some chipset drivers. Alternatively, try another install disk. vilpostus
You know about your hardware better then I do. I don't have the same stuff as you. So I can't guide you on this. You have your MB. You know what chipset is used and what other devices you have. So don't be laze to search the forum and use Google. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/lofiversi...hp/t105828.html http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/lofiversi...hp/t139807.html http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...mp;#entry899331 EDIT: Try using mamxmem=2048 flag.
