snakeo2
Hi guys, I just finished installing ideneb 10.5.5 on an amd x2 system and it appears everything ok. My internet works, not so sure about my audio since i havent tested it yet. However, I cant find the shutdown button....not sure if i messed something during installation, but for the life of me i cant find it. Also, when the computer goes into sleep mode, it doest come out of it regardless of what i do. I have to literally re-start the computer manually which shouldn't be the case. Also, how difficult would it be to upgrade to snow leopard? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/189137-how-to-shutdown-computer/ Share on other sites

snakeo2
shutdown should be in the apple menu at top left. Thanks so much, I feel like an idiot now. Happy to report that my sound is working. I was having issues with my usb detection, found the IOUSBFamily.kext and proceeded to install it and now I have usb detection. With regards to upgrading to snow leopard? is that out of the question? what about updating to ideneb 10.5.8? anyone can point me to a nice tutorial? thanks in advance. I'm still having some issues when I try to get the computer out of "sleep mode". Once it goes into sleep mode, the only way to get back into leopard is by doing a hard reboot.....anyone has any suggestion? thanks in advance,.
