goldenight Posted September 23, 2009 Author Share Posted September 23, 2009 No men the version of X-plane that i downloaded is for windows thinking that is for Mac but the installer is .exe and mac doesn´t run that. If you trying to tell me the same dvd for windows is for mac please tell me how to install it in mac because the only installer i saw is the .exe.. I have the demo version and i trying to add the Global scenery folder inside the demo but doesn´t work. And the aircraft´s panels is only in 2D.. If you know the solution please tell me. I havent bought X-plane for a long time... the version i had a few versions ago was for Linux, Mac, and Windows all on the same set of discs... if they don't do that anymore, and you bought the wrong one, maybe ask them. If its just an illegal copy download you did, the person that put it up might have stripped everything out for space and left Windows only.... I highly doubt you'd get it running in Cider, or Wine... not something anyone is even trying to get working since its native on Mac and Linux.
