Maybe this helps some people.

I used to DSDT.aml I found here in the forum some time ago when I was trying to run at high resolutions, and without artifacts (Leopard) in the text field and I'm sure many people have gone through it.

The SnowLeopard I installed without problems, and it all worked out, including the GMA950, I'm using at 1680x1050 without artifacts and with the rotation enabled.

For the installation of SnowLeopard, I used this tutorial.

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=183751

And here is the DSDT.aml generated by the patch.

Note: Motherboard D945GCNL Intel, Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM, 160GB Hard Drive. Everything is working, Sleep, Shutdown, Audio, Video. Other things not yet tested. I also have an Intel D945GCLF2, not yet tested ... But I an update saying anything if it worked or not.

Here's some screenshots.

For anyone say, "Not work for me!". That might not work on all motherboards with the Intel GMA950 in my configuration worked. But worth a try!

But say if it worked here.

Thanks!

And anybody know how I can make the system run on 64bits?

(And forgive me any grammar mistake. I am translating with the help of Google)

Hey 'cabaldi', thank God I found your post, I have been searching for two months for the information of installing snow leopard on Intel 945GCNL, but no success finally i found your post. Your system specifications almost same like me.

So, i want to ask you what 'kexts' you used for snow leopard installation, please tell me about all the kexts you used in snow leopard installation, are you able to change screen resolutions or not(just confined one resolution)?. You said sleep is working for you, is sleep or hibernate working as in windows where the systems almost shutsdown( i am using iatkosv7 10.5.7, sleep does not work like in windows, just hard disk goes to sleep the display does not go & processor does not stop running).

Are you now able to run 64-bit in snow leopard?

Please answer me as soon as possible as i can't wait to install snow leopard on my pc.

Sorry "Satti" for taking so long! If you do not understand something, sorry my bad english.

First! I made a Vanilla version installation, untouch iso (DMG) of MacOSX Snow Leopard.

Second! Yes I can change the resolution to 1680X1050 and other resolutions! = D

Third! And most important! Sleep works on 10.6.0 and 10.6.1, but I saw many people complaining about the 10.6.2 update giving kernel panic because of SleepEnable.kext. I explained how to avoid panics, in the post. And the site of Netkas seems to have a solution and new SleepEnabler.kext for 10.6.2.

Fourth! The processor is more calming down! Almost stopped! I think this is normal! hehe!

Fifth! I could not make the system run in 64bit. If you know of something let me know!

The files I used are in that file > [ http://www.deniscabaldi.com/MacLoader_SL_0.4.zip ] and follow exactly the steps in this tutorial using my files > [ http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...p;#entry1249000 ] and everything will be beautiful.

This file has a folder called KEXTs and other KEXTs_backup. I deleted the one original .kext contained in the tutorial "SleepEnabler.kext" in the KEXTs file, so you can upgrade to version 10.6.2 with no problems panics.

The DSDT.aml already ok, skip the part that explains how to patch. And go to part that explains how to restore the image of Leopard on a FlashDrive or External HD. [Phase 1.2: Pre-Installation (Snow Leopard Installer)]

Follow the instructions exactly! After you install and get into the SnowLeopard. Run 3_MacLoader file and follow the instructions. Save your FlashDrive or External HD with your life! Any problem it will help you!

After that, update your SnowLeopard to 10.6.2. Everything works except the Sleep but I think it has a solution here > [ http://netkas.org/?p=315 ], but not yet tested but if it works I post here for your knowledge!! I think even the Microphone works, but not tested too!

I think that's it! I hope I have helped and anything I'm available.
