KdeK
I've got the same motherboard. but a different graphics card. However, I got a pretty stable machine, builded with a normal install dvd of SL and the MyHack 1.1.4 bootloader and kexts installer. Use th chocolate mach_kernel for P4 support. I use the VoodooHDA kext for audio, but with this latter mentioned kext I've got some issues.
heavydz
I got it running with full QE and CI following config: ASUS P5GD1 Pro =========== 2x512 MB Ram 2x256 MB Ram Audio Onboard disabled Lan Onboard disabled Serial Onboard disabled Paralel Onboard disabled Midi Onboard disabled IDE WD 5000 AAKB 500GB (master) IDE DVD HL-DT-ST RW/DVD GCC-4522B (slave) Asus Geforce PCI-E 8400 GS 512 MB silent SB Audigy2 ZS Driver: http://kxproject.lugosoft.com/ Realtek RTL8169 PCI Lan card: driver http://lnx2mac.blogspot.com/p/realtekrtl81xx-osx-driver.html Installation: Nawcon Mod Iso Boot-CD and original Snow Leopard 10.6.3 Install DVD after the initial system installation i installed the network driver and then the audio driver Sleep dont work out-of-the box. So you have to disable sleep mode in system settings. Since the installation of the SB Audigy card i notice a firewire port via "about this mac..." But i cant confirm, if this is working cause i dont have any firewire stuff. The PC is listed there as: Mac mini 2.1 Intel Core Solo 3.01 GHz Grafic card supports QE / CI (transparency menu bar, wobbly effect in dashbord, front row is working) Geekbench 32bit around 1900
