I followed the blackosx direction on how to make my own DSDT.aml file and the guide for installing os x. I am booting off a 8GB jump drive. Now I am stuck at

waitforservice(resource matching(AppleIntelCpuPowerManagement) timed out

and nothing would happen. Any help regarding with this error would be great. Thanks a lot. I am looking forward to get SL on my desktop.

Here is my machine spec:

GA-X48-DS5 mobo

Intel C2D E8400

4GB DDR2 RAM

ATI Radeon HD4870 1GB

80GB SATA Hard Drive

SATA DVD-Burner

in some systems i would get that, but the installation/installed system would still boot... try reading some lines above the last one for any other type of errors

  • 3 months later...

I've had this issue on SL for about 3 days. Been trying to find a solution. No one responds to my posts either. As soon as I figure out why it is happening and how to fix it, I'll post it here.

PS> I'm on an ASUS P5B-E running 10.5.8 with an ATI x1950xt, so what works for me may not for you. But it is worth a shot.

Yeah, I looked at it a few times. Besides a few warnings, I don't see what is wrong with it. Can anyone help? Thanks a lot. post-95336-1252971686_thumb.jpg
