VinceXG Posted May 29, 2006 Share Posted May 29, 2006 Hi there i got a fully working dualboot with windows xp / mac osx 10.4.6 (goatsecx torrent release prepatched) only problem is my installation is very sluggish/slow (dock/finder/other menus..everything) and the resolution is low and refresh rate too.. (screen flashes from the left ;s) now i know that i should patch the ati kext.. but would that fix the sluggish/slow feel too? i also accidentely deleted my kext and the one i hex editted doesnt work .. can someone send me the original for 10.4.6 (or patch it with 0x4E44 - 0x002) ? my specs: amd sempron 3000 64bit (overclocked to a 3200) nforce 3 ati radeon 9700 1gb ram ps. good news is sound and ethernet worked right away Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/18587-noob-questions/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
bofors Posted May 29, 2006 Share Posted May 29, 2006 Now, you need to go into the Driver forum and figure out how to best get your ATI 9700 working. Omni's Callisto driver is the place to start.
