I managed to installed iPC OSx86 10.5.6 PPF5 on Asus W5A, with ALC880 driver option. After rebooted, I can see the Volume Icon. But I cannot hear any sound. I tried to switch output to built-in speaker from System Pref. but I cannot see internal speaker option.

I've tried with AppleHDAPatcher and Codec dump from linux livecd. Volume Icon not appeared at all, and no audio info on system profiler.

Anyone know the solution? I'm desperately need help, I need sound working on my Laptop.

Intel Pentium M 740

1.5GB DDR2

60GB HD

ALC880 audio

Intel 2200BG

Realtek 8139

Well, I don't have an answer for your problem, but I have a Asus W5A.

I tried to install another distribution (iDeneb) without success.

The computer doesn't boot after installation.

What kernel/patches/fixes/option did you use with iPC?

Thanx.
