As some of you may know, I've been having tons of computer trouble recently - so much so that I'm ready to throw this aging AMD machine out the window! I'm definitely getting a new Inspiron 15 in a few months, which I intend to Hackintosh as soon as I get it, but after that I'm going to turn my attention back to my desktop.

That said, I've been doing a bit of early shopping around Newegg and found that I could build a fairly high-end system (for my needs at least) for around $450. I was looking at components based on those included in the actual Mac Pro, with the intent of building a computer that would run OS X as seamlessly as possible. I'll list my current list of choices below ... can anyone verify that this will all work? In particular, I'd like to know if there are any special kexts I might need beforehand or anything, what options I should select during install, etc. Thanks!
