Hi all,

as you can see I have a KP related to the ACPI driver.

I tried:

Booting with (-f -x -v) or (-v) or (-x -v) or (-f -x -v -x32)

placed "AppleIntelPIIXATA.kext" in "/Extra/Extensions"

Added -x32 under kernel flags.

Still get this kp:

There's your problem right there... DSDT file should contain a lot of info.

Create your DSDT using Koala's patcher. You'll need a BIOS .bin for your MoBoard.

I managed to get a SnowLeo install to boot without DSDT, but then you'll constantly get the CMOS corruption at every boot, so I used DSDT in the end. Much better as you can inject Sound and GFX without EFI strings or sound enablers = S/L/E is completely untouched.

To not use DSDT you need to use Netkas' boot (10_1) file, and the correct Chameleon release.

Thank you for your help!

Could you be a bit more specific about what I have to do now..

I was thinking, maybe I can boot into mac using the DVD and from there patch the things that need to be patched...

What exactly do I have to do to get this working?

ps, i can't find my exact motherboard model n°.

I have a HP Pavilion dv9540eb notebook.

I can't find any info or support website about that koala patcher.

The SnowOSX Universal 10 6(432)GM-v3 5 iso contains makedsdt/dsdtpatch to create a working dsdt (while running the install process / terminal). That should help you.

yeah Diab303,

I did that, before just after i formatted my second disk for mac with disk utility, i opened terminal and did:

cd /

sh MakeDSDT OSX

(osx is the name of my mac disk)

It gave 200+ errors but it said it was successfull in the end...
