hello brothers

iam still in vain after searching through the forums so finally i decided to open a topic

the ISO file i got was from Mac_OS_X_10.4.8_-_JaS_AMD_Intel_SSE2_SSE3_incl._PPF1.3612263

i burned the ISO image to a DVD (sure i burned and verified it properly) and tried booting my PC with it

the problem is that it just stops at the "BOOT FROM DVD/CD : " line. The cursor is blinking...the DVD drive light is also blinking....the disc is spinning...but it just stays there...waited like 20 mins but nothing appears...doesnt go further...no screens...no logos..no nothin :)

my PC spec is

Q6600 quad core

Gigabyte EX38 DS4 motherboard

4GB ram

I intend to install it on a SATA drive with 2 paritions...one partition active containing XP pro sp2 (ntfs) and the other inactive n unformatted, raw so i can select, format and use it while OSX installation!

plus some other SATA (ntfs) hard drives

Am i trying to install a non-compatible version ? should i download some other release...which one ??

is my motherboard incompatible ??

shud my destination drive be totally empty and raw....?

why doesnt it booot ?

moreover iam unable to figure out DARWIN BOOTLOADER

what exactly is it...where do i get it and use it ? how does it work ? whats its role ? is it the missing key in installation ?? please shed some light

ive googled much the whole day...trust me :D

any help and reference will be highly apreciated.

thanks in advance brothers !!
