KAM_82 Posted August 29, 2009 Share Posted August 29, 2009 hello brothers iam still in vain after searching through the forums so finally i decided to open a topic the ISO file i got was from Mac_OS_X_10.4.8_-_JaS_AMD_Intel_SSE2_SSE3_incl._PPF1.3612263 i burned the ISO image to a DVD (sure i burned and verified it properly) and tried booting my PC with it the problem is that it just stops at the "BOOT FROM DVD/CD : " line. The cursor is blinking...the DVD drive light is also blinking....the disc is spinning...but it just stays there...waited like 20 mins but nothing appears...doesnt go further...no screens...no logos..no nothin my PC spec is Q6600 quad core Gigabyte EX38 DS4 motherboard 4GB ram I intend to install it on a SATA drive with 2 paritions...one partition active containing XP pro sp2 (ntfs) and the other inactive n unformatted, raw so i can select,format and use it while OSX installation! plus some other SATA (ntfs) hard drives Am i trying to install a non-compatible version ? should i download some other release...which one ?? is my motherboard incompatible ?? shud my destination drive be totally empty and raw....? why doesnt it booot ? moreover iam unable to figure out DARWIN BOOTLOADER what exactly is it...where do i get it and use it ? how does it work ? whats its role ? is it the missing key in installation ?? please shed some light ive googled much the whole day...trust me any help and reference will be highly apreciated. thanks in advance brothers !!
