The Finale of Seem Posted August 21, 2009 Share Posted August 21, 2009 I've just recently noticed that my DX58SO i7 board (which is working fine otherwise) is only reading the rear ports as USB 1.1 in OS X. The front ports are USB 2.0 and communicate at full speed, but any USB device plugged into the back cannot run at USB 2.0 speeds. I haven't yet checked in Windows, but I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this issue. I don't know why that would be as they're all controlled by the same chipset unless there's some kind of bug that throttles all the ports back when one USB 1.1 device is attached.
