mimimimi Posted August 10, 2009 Share Posted August 10, 2009 im trying to install iDeneb v.1.5.1 (patched) on a MSI Wind U123 using a 16GB USB stick. i format the stick and restore the ISO using Disk Utility. all ok so far. but then i tried installing Chameleon 2.0 RC2 on the USB stick and the installer hangs forever at "Installing Core - Writing package receipt". i tried installing Chameleon on my harddrive and it worked nicely. any ideas or workarounds? tx Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

mimimimi Posted August 10, 2009 Author Share Posted August 10, 2009 ok, i managed to install Chameleon 2.0 RC2 manually by following the steps 13, 14 and 15 from this post http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/lofiversi...hp/t165676.html NOTE: on the last command cp -p boot boot0 boot1h /Volumes/usbboot replace "usbboot" with the name of your USB volume since Im using an iDeneb install I presumed there's no need to do customize the Chameleon (step 17 and onward) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
