pressure Posted August 8, 2009 Share Posted August 8, 2009 Ok I use to run Iatkos 10.5.4 for almost a year or so, and all was well. I have no did a clean install of iatkos v7 10.5.7, and for the most part everything works. but I use a program called temperature monitor http://www.bresink.de/osx/TemperatureMonitor.html before on 10.5.4 it use to read all 4 cores of my q6600 at around 50 Celsius when idle. Now, my system runs at almost 74 Celsius idle!! on windows Vista I checked at it idles normal. I am using the intel dg31pr mother board and I have not changed anything but the OS. is there anything that I might have left out that regulates the temperature of the CPU's???
