macman4 Posted July 16, 2009 Share Posted July 16, 2009 Hi, I really need iDVD to work. . . I just installed iAtkos v7 and installed all of the updates. Everything works as it should except for iDVD. First problem was there was no sound but there was rotating menus. It also wouldn't accept any file formats (music and video) that I know work because I have other real macs and they work fine. Then I got everything working except the file format issue. Not being able to put in files makes iDVD pretty much useless. I have to use the hackintosh for iDVD, so any suggestions you would have would be super appreciated! I have the graphics injector from Netkas and QE is enabled. Thanks so much. CrAckViLLaN Posted July 22, 2009 Share Posted July 22, 2009 Hi, I have exactly the same problem, i am trying to create a slideshow dvd but cannot add mp4,mp3,aac audio files although i can add AIFF audio files created with itunes. It plays no default menu sounds when creating a project but replace with a AIFF music file and plays fine. I then add the photo's and preview the project and all works fine, but then try to create image or burn to DVD and bombs out every time with recoding / encoding error. I have searched for ages for a solution but you are the only person i have come accross with the same problem i have been experiencing. Please keep this topic updated if you make any progression.
