two problems

ALright I have installed the oh so lovely OSX on my computer and its works pretty well

10.4.1 dev disk

I got all the perfect hardware so it even runs with quartz extreme . and it supports my Ps/2 mouse+ keyboard

 

anyway, ive encountered my fair share of problems. But it doesnt become a fully useable OS befoere I can go online

 

problem one

In "About this Mac" it tells me I havve 512 MB ram (which i do) in system profiler it tells me one slot is empty. I dont know why this is happening. But I cant run Final Cut Pro.

 

Second

I bought a WMP54G linksys adapter. It doesnt work. Ive read about this problem, But how can I tell if it is V4. THe Cd says the installer is V4 does that mean anything.

I heard there are drivers for this though.

 

Third kinda.

Some programs I tried to install dont work. Openoffice/text wrangler/ VLC/ I dont know why

 

 

I eralyl hope someone can help me. Id dont mind a few bugs, but id like to fix these
