Try booting with the flag CPUS=1, it should fix your freezing issue, but limits how many cores your CPU uses.

 

Also, are you using the "Vanilla" (Original) Kernel? Go into the terminal and type in this command: uname -a, it will tell you the kernel version.

 

If it is the original kernel, replace it with the Voodoo Kernel: http://xnu-dev.googlecode.com/files/Voodoo...e_1.0_Rev_A.dmg

thanks for that info , i have figured that it only does it when my firewire devices are plugged in

 

is there a patch for this?
