I followed the instructions from the wiki. But I'm stumped at getting the networking working. The wlan in my D600 is a Broadcom MiniPCI.

The wiki instructions are:

Latitude D600

Install Method: iPC 10.5.6 Final (Dual layer LiveDVD) or iPC_OSx86_10_5_6_Universal_PPF5_Final (single layer DVD)

Processor: Pentium M 1,4 GHz

Audio: Sigmatel works

LAN: Broadcom 5702 Gigabit works

PCMCIA/Cardbus works

Airport works

Touchpad works

Sound bottons works

Install Instructions:

To install:

Format HDD/Partition as MSDOS

Boot DVD

Format Partition as Journaled HFS+

Choose the following: Voodoo 9.5 kernel, AppleIntelPIIXATA, AC97, Broadcom Wireless, Patched USB,

VoodooPower, ACPI Fix, IOPCMCIAFamily, Seatbelt.kext fix, IntelCPUPMDisabler, PS/2 Keyboard fix, PS/2 Mouse fix, dsdt patch, AppleSMBIOS-28

Install

After install, boot with -v -f

Install old kext: For Airport support use Broadcom.kext from Leo4All 10.5.4.

For Gigabit 5702 onboard NIC use Kext posted in the forum.

Repair permissions, clear extension caches, reboot and enjoy! All working. Except ATI 9000. No driver!

Tested with Realtek PCMCIA NIC 8139

Greetinx OS2K9, Vidma . . . . . .

Everything installs & works fine but no wireless or wired lan.

I'm stumped on the following (from the wiki):

Install old kext: For Airport support use Broadcom.kext from Leo4All 10.5.4.

For Gigabit 5702 onboard NIC use Kext posted in the forum

Can someone give me clearer instructions, please?

There are a few posts and guides out there claiming to have the lan and wifi on the dell d600 laptop. Some say to try the iwi2200 file--it doesn't work. I have everything else going but the internet. The wiki here says:

"After install, boot with -v -f

Install old kext: For Airport support use Broadcom.kext from Leo4All 10.5.4.

For Gigabit 5702 onboard NIC use Kext posted in the forum."

I need some help with this part, too. Sorry, but I am new to this. Any help in explaining this would be great. Thank you
