Abhishek Deb Posted July 2, 2009 Share Posted July 2, 2009 This are my specs: Proc : AMD Athlon X2 64-bit 4600+ 2.4 GHz [Dual Core] mobo : Asus M2n MX Se PLus [Onboard nVidia GeForce 6150 SE GPU] GPU : nVidia GeForce 9500 GT DDR2 1GB RAM : DDR2 2GB HDD : Western Digital 160 GB Sata DVD : Moserbaer DVD writer 20X OS DVD: Jas OSx 10.4.6 problem: Whenever I try to install it, after the black screen goes off, a grey screen appears and tells me to restart the computer! I tried installing it with this command line (after pressing F8 on the black screen ): " cpus=1 platform=ACPI|X86PC " ... BT nw another problem occurs: Though I get a screen with the apple logo and a small wheel just spinning below it... It continues spinning on and on... and nothing happens... even after 1 whole hour, I see the same screen. Wht I observed tht the DVD was nt spinning anymore and the HDD led was nt litting up! Bt the wheel under the Apple logo was still runnning! I even tried it under VMware and I even suceeded! There was no problem in in it at all! Read from other posts arnd here, I even unplugged my GPU and set the Graphics aperture size to 128 MB in the BIOS..still the same problem persists... GUys plz help me out...
