cellman
I remember well last time I saw a PowerBook in an AppleStore I saw its aqua-blue wallpaper can automatically change colors of itself. I love it very much. But when I have tiger-x86 imaged to my old 20G hdd and make Tiger running on my ThinkPad X31, I find the colors will not change at all. Can anybody help me? FelixSkull
You can do that in the "system preference" then "desktop & screensavers", then check "change picture"; it will do a little transition between two images, That's what you saw in the apple store Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/1713-desktop-question/#findComment-10872 Share on other sites

I followed your instructions but it didn't work. No matter I chose 5 seconds or 1 minutes or more minutes, it would not change little by little but JUMP to another picture immediately. I am running Tiger on ThinkPad X31(P-M 1.3GHz/20G HDD/512 MB DDR/Mobility Radeon with 16MB DDR), with SSE3-SSE2 0.4 patched. FelixSkull
It depends on Quartz extreme, if you don't have it you won't see the transition but just a "jump" from an image to another one Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/1713-desktop-question/#findComment-12123 Share on other sites
