newguy2009
I've got IPC 10.5.6 installed on a Sony Vaio laptop (PCG 9D6L NV170) I have a Linksys WPC11 wifi card which lspci reports as RTL8180L. 03:00.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8180L 802.11b MAC (rev 20) Is there a driver for this or does anyone have any experience or pointers to getting this card to work? I'm also not even sure that my pcmcia bus is working correctly. Is this the right component to look at? CardBus? 02:05.0 CardBus bridge: Ricoh Co Ltd RL5c476 II (rev a8) 02:05.1 CardBus bridge: Ricoh Co Ltd RL5c476 II (rev a8) When I boot from a linux liveCD like knoppix or GPartedLive I see the light on the pcmcia card goes on. But when I boot into my IPC installation the light on the card isn't even on, which makes me believe I am missing some driver for the pcmcia subsystem itself. Where would I look to fix this? Thanks again for all your help. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/170488-any-help-with-wifi-rtl8180l-pcmcia/ Share on other sites
