DanYee
I am trying to install MAC on my PC, so that I can get used to using it before i get a Mac notebook. However, I have some trouble getting the drivers for it. What I plan to do is to use iATKOS V1.0 ir2 and using windows Vista and dual boot it. My System: MSI P7N SLI Platinum Intel C2D 8400 3.0GHz 4GB DDR2 Ram Asus 8800GTX. Realtek ALC888 HD Audio Realtek® RTL8211BL VIA 6308P chipset NVIDIA nForce 430i chipset NVIDIA nForce 750i SLI chipset I do not have the knowledge of writing drivers and i'm unsure of where to begin finding the drivers. Thanks in advance Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/170067-drivers-for-mac-os-on-a-pc-help/ Share on other sites
Scottapotamas
iAtkos contains drivers like many other distros... You select 'customisation during the install, then choose the necessary drivers... There may not be everything, but once thats done (you might need to try several configurations) you can get into mac, see what needs help, and work form there... If something dosen't work, eg sound, then you would need a 888 HDA kext or two, you can find them by searching with http://www.google.com/coop/cse?cx=00948655...297:e41g72sr-ba Then you can use UInstaller from PCWIZ to install a string for your video card.... Just search around, there are plenty of guides, probs one for your board Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/170067-drivers-for-mac-os-on-a-pc-help/#findComment-1173805 Share on other sites
