woodicw
I have an old compaq presario R3000z I got in 2004. I already installed OSX on my Dell desktop and love it and would love to have it on my laptop too. Here are the specs for my laptop -AMD Athlon 64 3000+ -Nforce 3 chipset -512MB PC2700 DDR SDRAM(can upgrade to 2GB if needed) -DVD/CD-RW drive -Geforce4 440 Go 64M [NV17M] 64mb -Sound - nForce MCP3 Audio Codec Interface - Analog Devices AD1981B -BroadCom BCM4306 802.11g wireless NIC -Ethernet Realtek RT8139(A/B/C/813x) Fast Ethernet Adapter Im hoping I can use the iPC 10.5.6 distro that I used on my dell, and I was wondering if you guys can help me out with figuring out exactly what settings I need and if a better distro exists that I should be using. Thanks in Advance. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/169907-compaq-presario-r3000z/ Share on other sites
