CarlosP
I have a Mac G5, a while ago started showing some strange problems. It worked fine, but sometimes when you turned it on you heard the fans at full speed, some what like the sound a vacuum makes, and followed by 3 intermittent beeps. Sometimes, when the you turned it on and off a couple of times you could get it to work. I changed the ram and it kept doing the same thing. The power supply was changed by at mac store, but it kept doing it. I checked the board for any inflated or blown caps, but everything looked ok. Yesterday I took the it apart and removed some screws and fans for a closer look, didn't take the board out or the power supply. I re-assembled the whole thing and now it won't turn on. All you hear is a click sound, like a switch, and the led in the front turns on and quickly off again. Has anyone experienced anything similar, or might know what's wrong?
