bombaaa
w/ essential I mean: making a backup of an already running installation, step by step, maybe different ways that will lead to the intention to restore everything to the last point of state the OS was running. This would make the world easier for anyone who ever tries to explain how to install a grafic-, sound- or whatever-card. Once done precisely it is easy to keep up to date I think. It's less work than explaing someone how to do anything again for the xth-time. Also it will gain the knowledge of the community, there is a less need of the search function a.s.o.... Or am I totally wrong with these thoughts?! And don't get me wrong, guys, this is no complaint, it's an idea to improve this entire forum! so far... bombaaa Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/169445-i-just-wondered/ Share on other sites
Poco
Well there are some guides in the Genius Bar. Other stuff gets posted around the forums but it can get lost occasionally with all of the other posts. If they're lucky the posts got stickied and they stayed. I suppose the problem is worsened by our non working search. Poco
I suppose we could always use the search next to the logo. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/169445-i-just-wondered/#findComment-1171040 Share on other sites
