Is there a reason why you are wanting to go AMD? You could get a dualcore wolfdale that would scream if you overclocked or one of the lower priced Intel quad cored and have a much better base for compatibility. TomCom
With that you're building a computer, but I'm not sure about the Hackintosh. PS: You could write what you're linking too: it's boring to click ten times to see what is it about. PPS: What are you going to do with that PSU? A powerplant? It won't go faster, you know, and you could plug all your rig with a 400W PSU. It'd run hot but it'd work. So take some good 500-600W PSU with an EPS connector, 80+ certified and get half of your 230$ back. etereo21
im gonna build core i7 system instead, I think it would work better on intel system instead Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/168689-am3-system/#findComment-1171417 Share on other sites
TomCom
I think it's a better idea too. There are a few Gigabyte AM2+ mobos on the HCL, but no AM3 yet. EX58-UD4P, Core i7 920, 600W PSU and you're good to go! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/168689-am3-system/#findComment-1171569 Share on other sites
