Mikux
Hello guys, I just updated my Ideneb 10.5.5 to the 7 with the 2 Ideneb upadate package. my computer works fine, and probably a bit faster BUT... I just discover that I cannot see any video with VLC (i only hear the sound) so I tryed with Quicktime and after an update or perian it works (but only in quicktime) Of course I uninstalled & reinstalled VLC...no change :S Same strange case with Iweb09, i can see all the structure of my web site in the side bar but the screen shows nothings what normaly inside. I reinstalled I web, no difference. I restore the domain file from the backup...no change :S In parallel I reinstalled the kext nvinject tryed to change kernel vanilla to voodoo, and now back to vanilla. so now i'm stucked...have no idea what happend with the mac! is there any protection set by apple during install? (probably not becos the upd pack is from the Ideneb team) my config is in the signature thank you for any help M Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/168548-after-1055-67-update-video-problems-x/ Share on other sites
Mikux
well I should have put that post in Post installation section...:S I fall on that topic: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=130739 I tried the VLC 0,8,6c but it crash all the time in reading a video. so i tried the 0,8,4a and that one works!! so one problem is solved (even if i wonder why the new version is not ok) now the Iweb09, and that will be harder ....I have only one version Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/168548-after-1055-67-update-video-problems-x/#findComment-1166527 Share on other sites
Mikux
now the Iweb09, and that will be harder ....I have only one version for that i tryed that: Go to the iWeb application, right click on the app and select "Show Package Contents" Browse to "/Contents/Resources/" and open "Defaults.plist" in textedit Find the lines "<key>SFRAcceleratedCanvas</key> <true/>" and edit it to <key>SFRAcceleratedCanvas</key> <false/>" from that post: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...mp;#entry755790 well now when i open i can see the border of the elements on the page. but thats not enough I remember that Ilife09 couldn't be installed on a 10.5.5 but a little trick (in changing the version in text) was enough to go around that problem. is there maybe the same issue (as my mac config 'about this mac' don't shows clear info of the material and maybe should for iweb) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/168548-after-1055-67-update-video-problems-x/#findComment-1166557 Share on other sites
