Hi,

Today I was visiting Ryan Air's website and I would like to see the destination map. The internet site requirers Microsoft Silverlight to display.

I downloaded Silverlight DMG with both Safari and Firerfox, but can't install.

Error: This program can not be installed on your machine....... or something like this.

Maybe, because the profiler also shows me the wrong CPU info and type of MAC as well the MAC serialnumber.

Has someone silverlight running on an hackintosh?

This worked for me:

quick and easy.

That workaround works for Silverlight and others, like Fusion, but does anyone know how to actually solve the problem?

In 10.5.8 my CPU is correctly identified as Intel Quad Core Q6600, but in SL it's not, and that means that without doing the workaround above, a few apps just won't install.

Where does the CPU info come from?
