thisredbox
Hackintosh was running quite nicely. Switched out old one gig stick of 533mhz ram for four one gig sticks of 800hmz. now, when using around 2.x gig or ram i get the kernel panic of: "getPHYSICALsegment () out of 32b range......IOGeneralMemoryDescriptor..." I've read this MAY (bc im not sure if this is the cause) be related to the machine trying to use too much memory in 32 bit mode, but thanks to voodoo im running my amd dual core in 64 bit...so im not sure whey im having the problem. I saw somethinn about a function called "getphysicalsegment64"...but im not exactly sure what that is. any help would be appreciated Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/168384-kp-when-using-more-than-2x-gigs-of-ram/ Share on other sites
