fjackson
I have been using my Hackintosh for good while now...I have been using the USB Boot-132 method. 2 days ago, the system was freezing up over and over....had to reboot several times....well on about the 7th reboot, It would not boot. Gave me some error (went by quick, so I couldn't see it) about com.apple.boot.plist not found or something along those lines. I have 2 hard drives in this system. I had Carbon Copy Clone set up to clone the main disk to the second disk every night at 10pm. So I figured maybe the first hard drive had gone bad, so I told the USB Boot 132 to boot to the second drive....(Same Error).....well I figured I will just pull the drive out and copy the stuff off of it I wanted and just reload....well nothing is on either drive.....both say 0 bytes used....I connected them to my Macbook Pro via a USB enclosure....Blank.....that sucks.....My wife is freaking out because she was using it and all of her pictures are on it.....I downloaded a demo of Data Rescue II and did a full scan of the drive....it sees pictures, videos and such, so I know the data is still there.... What would anyone of you suggest I need to do to be able to see the data that is on both disks.....I really don't understand how whatever happened, nuked both the primary drive and the backup drive..... Help!!!!! Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/167741-really-at-a-loss-what-should-i-do/ Share on other sites
